Little Souls® was established in 1986 by a young mother who, unable to afford new toys for her children, searched her home from rafters to foundation for anything that could be fashioned into a simple play thing. Wonderful creations crafted from old socks, cloth, buttons and yarn emerged as new companions for her children! As each little soul was created, they were given a name that somehow just seemed to fit their personality. Little Souls®’ earliest products were intricate, whimsical and fanciful toys and dolls, designed to express the unique individuality and soul of every child, and to remind us of the child in us all. For over 20 years, Little Souls® has been known for embodying the 4-year-old’s “let-me-dress-myself” mentality: unusual mixes of colors, patterns and textures that, despite the chaos of the raided closet, complement each other.

This 20-year heritage of combining fun with the unexpected has helped launch Little Souls® footwear. As with its past products, Little Souls® shoes have an emotional appeal that we can’t explain. All it takes is one look and you get it. The shoes remind us of childhood’s vulnerabilities and somehow reassure us in our adulthood that we still retain the joy and free spirit so natural to our own youth. The shoes remind us, in fact encourage us, to have fun!
